AECL announces its launch of season 5, over 200 celebrities to take part
New Delhi, 14th September 2023: The Artist Event Cricket League (AECL) is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated Season 5, a convergence of artistry and cricket that promises to be a spectacular affair. Founded by Ashish Mathur and Sonia Mathur, along with co-founders Ashish Rathi and Vipul Gossain, AECL has evolved into a cultural phenomenon, bridging the gap between artists, artist management companies, wedding planners, social event hosting companies, and a multitude of celebrities from the entertainment industry.
This season, AECL is set to dazzle audiences with its star-studded lineup. Cricket icon Gautam Gambhir, music sensations Daler Mehndi, King Mikka Singh, and an array of notable names including Manoj Tiwari, Sukhbir Singh, Meet Bros, Dilbagh Singh, Navraj Hans, Sapna Chaudhary, Stebin Ben, Millind Gaba, Shadab Faridi, Ashok Mastie, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Shibani Kashyap, AJ Singh, DJ Sumit Sethi, and more, are poised to add their star power to AECL Season 5. This season promises not only thrilling cricket but also unforgettable entertainment.
Ashish Mathur, Founder of Aasma Dance Company and Founder of AECL, expressed his excitement, saying, "AECL Season 5 is a testament to the beautiful synergy between the world of cricket and the world of artistry. It's a celebration of talent, sportsmanship, and entertainment on one grand stage.
The inauguration of season 5 will commence with a friendly match between the celebrity team and Samarthanam. Samarthanam is the name of the cricket team in the visually challenged segment who have represented India at the International level and are the World Champions in 2018. This will be a friendly match, and a gesture of honour to the team given by the celebrity world.
The matches will be played with a tennis ball with 12 overs for each side during the league stage and 15 overs for each side during the knockout stages. Overall, over 200 celebrities will be taking part across the 16 teams, including famous artists taking on with the bat and ball.
Stage is set for five days of intense matches from September 28th to October 2nd at The BallPark Gurugram. With 12 formidable teams competing, including Faridabad Fighters, Delhi West, Delhi South, Delhi North, Chandigarh Kings, UP Titans, Rajasthan Warriors, Noida Falcons, Gurugram Champions, Mumbai Kings, Haryana Hitters, and Delhi East, AECL Season 5 is poised to be an exhilarating event that not only celebrates cricket but also fosters collaboration, business expansion, and professional growth
